One World One Family Foundation (OWOF) USA welcomed legendary Indian cricketer and Padma Bhushan awardee, Sunil Gavaskar, to a fundraiser for life-saving pediatric care at Royal Albert’s Palace near Edison, NJ, on August 23.
In a fireside chat, Gavaskar mentioned how the “third Innings” of his life, which is dedicated to supporting children through OWOF, has been the most satisfying of his life.
Called affectionately as the ‘Little Master’, he shared memorable anecdotes from his cricketing career, such as highlights from his first West Indies trip.
Despite his legendary status in the cricketing world and sports in general, Gavaskar humbly attributed his success to Divine Blessings.
Pallavi Ridout, executive coach and global talent management executive based in Dallas, TX, chatted with Gavaskar and moderated the luncheon event.
The fundraiser brought together community members, philanthropic leaders, and supporters around a shared goal: expanding access to essential healthcare for children and families, regardless of their ability to pay.
Gavaskar, a Board Advisor and Ambassador for One World One Family USA, is visiting communities across the United States to raise awareness and support for the nonprofit organization’s humanitarian mission.

Earlier, on August 16, 2026, OWOF Foundation hosted Gavaskar at a sold-out charity gala at Spice Affair in the glamorous Beverly Hills in Los Angeles, CA. The event featured a fireside chat hosted by Dr. Bharat Patel and speeches from figures like Manu Shah, focusing on Gavaskar’s transition into philanthropy and supporting global nutrition, education, and healthcare.
OWOF was founded by Sadguru Sri Madhusudan Sai, global spiritual leader and humanitarian, continues the service mission inspired by Sri Sathya Sai Baba.
OWOF’s global network operates a different model of humanitarian service: delivering essential healthcare, education, and nutrition free of charge to those in need. Its Sanjeevani Medical Center in Clarksdale, Mississippi, provides free primary healthcare, prescriptions, transportation assistance, and other support without requiring insurance or documentation. The organization is now developing its next free healthcare center in Cincinnati, Ohio.
