One World, One Family (OWOF) volunteers presented at the Holmdel India Association (HIA)’s annual Diwali Dinner on October 12 in Holmdel, NJ.
Soma and Dr. Rekha Rao, Presidents of OWOF’s NJ/NY Chapter, shared OWOF’s Global Humanitarian message of Love and Compassion, highlighting the organization’s mission to provide free nutrition, education, and healthcare to underprivileged children and adults in over 30 countries.
A special raffle was also held for a cricket bat signed by India’s legendary batsman, Shri Sunil Gavaskar, as a gesture of appreciation for donors supporting the cause.
The event, attended by nearly 400 guests, included prominent local dignitaries such as the Holmdel Mayor, NJ State Senator, Holmdel Board of Education officers, candidates from both Democratic and Republican parties for the upcoming House and Senate elections, and residents from Holmdel and neighboring Towns in NJ.
