In a historic moment for the US spiritual landscape, Paramahamsa Vishwananda, revered spiritual master and founder of the global Bhakti Marga movement, blessed more than 1,250 seekers at New York City’s iconic Riverside Church on August 9, 2025. The event — a rare opportunity for devotees to receive his Divine Darshan — filled the cathedral with transcendent devotion, sacred music, and palpable grace.
For over six hours, the atmosphere radiated joy and reverence as kirtan (devotional chanting) united voices and hearts in a shared vibration of love. Many attendees described being moved to tears, overwhelmed by a profound sense of inner peace and connection.
“I am not giving you this Love — I am helping you remember and experience the Love that has always been within you,” said Paramahamsa Vishwananda, moving many to joyful tears.
For the Indian and South Asian community in New York, the evening was more than just a gathering — it was a celebration of Sanatana Dharma, cultural heritage, and shared devotion. The program featured soul-stirring kirtan, heartfelt chanting, and Divine Darshan — a direct blessing from the Master.
