Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, a global spiritual leader, emphasized meditation’s role in nurturing mental well-being and fostering unity. His event, “World Meditates with Gurudev,” achieved several world records, including the Guinness World Record for the most-viewed guided meditation live stream on YouTube.

“Meditation is the journey from knowing by thought to feeling what you know. It is not inactivity; it is dynamic peace,” said Gurudev.

Atop the World Trade Center, he guided millions into a transformative session, igniting a global peace movement. His efforts demonstrated meditation’s potential to unite people, transcending borders, religions, and cultures.

Sadhguru on unlocking the miracle of the mind

Sadhguru, founder of the Isha Foundation, lauded the UN’s recognition of meditation as a crucial step in addressing the impending mental health crisis. In his message, he called meditation a tool for unlocking the human mind’s potential.

“Meditation is the process through which the mind transforms from a misery-manufacturing machine into a miracle,” Sadhguru said.

He announced the upcoming launch of the Miracle of Mind app, offering simple meditative practices to promote joy and mental balance. Sadhguru highlighted December 21’s significance as the winter solstice, a day for inner exploration in many cultures, and praised India for leading this transformative initiative.

Sri Madhusudan Sai on uniting humanity through consciousness

Sri Madhusudan Sai, carrying forward the teachings of Puttaparthi Sai Baba, emphasized meditation as a gateway to consciousness and inner harmony.

“Consciousness unites us all because it is the essence of what we are made of. Meditation helps us transcend the body and mind to access this oneness,” he shared.

Sri Madhusudan Sai encouraged individuals to use meditation as a tool for moderating thoughts and emotions and fostering love and understanding for themselves and others.

“Radiate love despite shortcomings. Meditate enough to merge into peace and let harmony emerge naturally,” he advised.

His teachings resonated with the theme of World Meditation Day, illustrating how personal peace can ripple outward, fostering global unity.

Sri Madhusudan Sai emphasizes that meditation is a tool for transcending the body and mind and realizing universal consciousness. He says, “In meditation’s silence, you find true existence, the same in all; peace emerges from there.”

Encouraging harmony, he adds, “Exude love for yourself and others. Peace is love expressed as understanding, and stillness within arises when we see no ‘others,’ nurturing our peace for global balance.”
