Following its massive success last year, the Global Conference of Meditation Leaders (GCML) will return to New Delhi from April 3 to 5 at the prestigious Bharat Mandapam convention center in Pragati Maidan. The three-day event is expected to host over 600 delegates representing nearly 70 organizations from across sectors, positioning itself as a key global platform at the intersection of meditation, science, and leadership.
Vice President Radhakrishnan is the chief guest

Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan will attend the conference as the chief guest. Supported by the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, the event aims to create a global platform where spiritual wisdom, scientific research, and leadership practices converge.
Organized by the Buddha-CEO Quantum Foundation, the conference will see participation from lawmakers, policymakers, government officials, leaders of industry associations, universities, and education boards. Speakers will include CEOs from public and private sectors, healthcare professionals, yoga and alternative medicine experts, NGO heads, and global decision-makers, including representatives from international bodies.
A Lotus in the Mud is the media partner for the event for the second consecutive year.
“This year we have the support of the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, which further strengthens the conference’s mission of promoting meditation and holistic living at an institutional and national level,” Dr. Chandra Pulamarasetti, founder of the Buddha-CEO Quantum Foundation, told A Lotus In The Mud.
Integrating meditation into governance, healthcare, and education
The three-day event is centered on advancing a shared vision of integrating meditation into public and societal life as a practical, scientific, and inclusive approach to holistic living and world peace.
“Meditation is not just a personal wellness activity but a powerful tool that can help leaders develop clarity, compassion, ethical decision-making, and a deeper sense of responsibility toward society and the planet,” said Dr. Chandra.
He also noted that the conference stands out for bridging spirituality, science, and leadership, while also offering experiential learning through guided meditation sessions that allow participants to directly experience its benefits alongside expert insights.
Expert talks + experiential meditation sessions
Key themes for this year’s conference include holistic living, leadership excellence, physical health and mental well-being, conflict resolution and peace, and excellence in education.
The program is designed to engage participants through both theoretical and practical formats. Among the sessions are a live music meditation titled “Collective Awakening,” aimed at fostering deeper states of connection and group energy, and a Power Talk on “From Inner Transformation to Global Peace – The Science of Meditation,” which will explore evidence-based links between meditation and its impact on individuals, organizations, and society through neuroscience, quantum physics, and consciousness studies.
The conference will feature a diverse lineup of speakers from across sectors, including Swami Chidanand Saraswati, Dr. Vinod K. Paul (Member, NITI Aayog), Padma Shri D.R. Kaarthikeyan, Padma Shri Vaidya Rajesh Kotecha (Secretary, Ministry of AYUSH), Padma Shri Dr. H.R. Nagendra, Dr. H.K. The inaugural edition of GCML witnessed strong participation from policymakers, corporate leaders, healthcare professionals, and spiritual organizations. According to organizers, the 2025 conference saw around 400–500 leaders in attendance, with over 1,000 participants present at the venue and more than 100,000 viewers joining online through live streaming, enabling a global reach.
The organizers said the conference is structured to provide participants with specific insights and practical frameworks to implement meditation and holistic living practices within their organizations and communities. They added that the broader objective is to move meditation from an individual practice to an institutional tool.
“Meditation specifically helps bring alignment of the inner self with the outer world, enabling leaders to make more conscious, balanced, and compassionate decisions,” said Dr. Chandra.
