ALotusInTheMud.com was proud to be invited as a Digital Media Partner at the 2nd Global Meditation Leaders Conference on held at the prestigious Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi’s Pragati Maidan. The conference on February 21-22aimed to promote mediation in education, health, and governance. I flew down from New York to be there. Being a long-time meditator, I was encouraged to see meditation getting the attention it deserves and to learn that it is on its way to becoming widely accepted as yoga already is.
The conference, with over 1000 delegates, was organized by Buddha-CEO Quantum Foundation, headed by Chandra Pulamarasetti, along with PMC Hindi TV channel, S-VYASA University, and Heartfulness Institute. It as facilitated by the Principal Scientific Advisor to the Government of India. As a Media Partner, we reported on the GCML for publications including Patheos.com, The South Asian Times, The Indian Panorama, and, of course, Lotus Global meet appeals leaders to integrate meditation for public good.
