She toured the United States in 1984 with the Broadway production Brighton Beach Memoir before transitioning into teaching dance and movement to senior citizens. She is a certified yoga instructor, trained in New York and at a yoga centre in Kerala, India, and has furthered her studies through yoga schools in Vietnam and Thailand. She currently teaches chair yoga and movement at government-run senior centres.
