The author retells a story to illustrate that joy and happiness increase when shared with others.
Motivational talk has recently attracted a new audience on social media. Let’s rethink an old story we might have heard on different occasions.
Listeners asked a speaker how to find happiness in life. The preacher told them to bring some balloons, and when they did, he gave each of them a balloon.
Then everyone was instructed to blow up the balloon and write their name on the outside of it. After everyone had written their names, he collected all the balloons and filled a room with them. He then announced: “I’ll give you two minutes! Within that time, you must all find the balloon in that room with your name on it!” Everyone rushed into that room as a group. There were so many balloons that it was hard to find the one with their name on it! So everyone quickly pushed the other balloons away and tried to find their own balloon.
After two minutes, everyone was back in their seats, but no one had a balloon. Then the preacher told them: “Now go back into that room, pick up any balloon you see, and hand it to the person whose name is written on it.” Everyone got their balloon back in seconds. The preacher then said to them: “This is the secret of happiness for each one of you! You search around to find your happiness, trample on the happiness of others, and try to find your happiness! But in the end, you will fail! When you give happiness to others, you will get your happiness back.”
Our happiness lies in the happiness of others. When we make those around us happy, we feel glad too. It’s a give-and-take process! The lives of those who bring joy to others will be blessed with joy.
Positive thinking is essential for a happy, successful, and fulfilling life. However, maintaining a positive outlook every day can be challenging. Some individuals assert they are always positive and label others as ‘always negative’ for highlighting potential risks in their projects. This inspiring analogy offers uplifting messages for anyone needing encouragement and optimism, providing valuable insights to help readers stay positive, regardless of their circumstances. Through powerful stories and motivational examples, it underscores the importance of spreading joy and finding happiness in the happiness of others.
What are right thoughts?
Life is a mixture of joy and sorrow. It’s all about how we deal with it! A famous orator said: “Your prayer changes not God, but you! Because your hopes are your prayers!”
Our perspective must change. To see the best in anything, you must hold on to optimism! Life will be comfortable then! He that expects good shall receive good! Our belief is that good things will come true later.
Being optimistic about life is the most important thing! Our hopes and dreams today shape who we are tomorrow.
Motivational words matter because they help to fuel motivation, foster resilience, and empower individuals to achieve their full potential personally and professionally, provided you are ready to change your attitude and accept guidance.
