Lotus shows the way to celebrate Yoga Day – with a difference

Over 200 people joined to celebrate the International Day of Yoga on June 22 on Long Island. Going beyond yoga postures, the Spirit of Yoga event was co-hosted by Parveen Chopra (founder, ALotusInTheMud.com) and the Brahma Kumaris World Spiritual Organization in Great Neck, NY.
Presenters included BK Sister Gayatri Naraine, Eddie Stern, Rakesh Bhargava, Andonia Fthenakis and Dr Anjali Grover.

Jennifer DeSena, Supervisor of the Town of North Hempstead, and many prominent community members graced the event.
