He has written three books, including the only authorized biography of the Dalai Lama of its kind – ‘Man, Monk, Mystic’—published in 25 languages worldwide, including in the US by Doubleday. He has four more books in the pipeline. Chhaya spent several months interviewing and traveling with the Dalai Lama in India and the US.
He is a widely published commentator on South Asian, US-India, China-India, and China-Tibet affairs apart from serious science-based stories.
