Dr. V.K Raju, M.D., is a clinical professor of ophthalmology at West Virginia University and the founder and medical director of the Eye Foundation of America, which aims to eliminate childhood blindness worldwide. The Foundation helped found two eye institutes—Goutami and Srikiran—in Andhra Pradesh, India, which provide innovative and compassionate care to patients.
