The love that multiplied: How the vision of an anthology became a miraculous reality

The heartwarming story behind the creation and grand launch of ‘Love, Multiplied (111 Times)’, featuring 111 stories of love from around the world. As told by the book’s curator herself.

I feel amazed at love. At how it twists and turns, bends and mends – and somehow finds a way for itself. I recently witnessed a series of events that made me realize how powerful love can be.

A Seed of Love Takes Root

Around August 2023, I was in the third trimester of my pregnancy. Physically, I was exhausted… wobbling around like a top with a huge center. Emotionally, I was charged like never before. I could not believe that the little seed in my womb had developed arms, legs, a heart, intestines, and even a spleen! I could not wrap my head around the fact that I was co-creating with creation… that in my own way, I was a creator of a little human. It fascinated me to no end!

It was around this time that we had a team meeting, and I was sharing what I was feeling and how I wished I could write a book about love and everything I was experiencing. Immediately, Priyanka, a teammate, said, “Megha, since you can’t possibly author the book all alone… how about we all co-author it?”

A single sentence. But it had immense potential. Especially since my company, WoW (Wonders of Words), works with aspiring authors and schools to bring key language, life, and leadership skills, we had connections with many people who loved dabbling in words. We released the idea to the world, and lo and behold! The stories started pouring in. They came from France and from Finland. They came from Mumbai and from Manhattan. They came from rural Chennai and Kentucky. They simply flowed in…

Audience
The launch of the book ‘Love, Multiplied (111 Times)’ brought thousands together – both online and offline. They included authors of Megha Bajaj’s WoW program, and students, teachers, educators from schools that have opted for Megha’s WoW Language, Life and Leadership programs, and seekers following Mahatria.

“Love makes things possible. People reading the book tell me something just shifts in them – one story at a time.  To limit love to a relationship is grossly limiting it. To understand it as the very power that runs the entire Universe comes closer to definition.”

The Love Stories Flow In

We sat in amazement as it all unfolded. A son running his marathon in memory of his late Father. A daughter talking about her mother’s cooking. A youngster sharing his love for his cat—and a senior citizen sharing his experiences of love lived over eight decades.

Magical as it was, when I gave birth to Athyasaa – on 11.11.2023 (a date very special to us, as it was the day my Guru Mahatria had divined our spiritual path Infinitheism), we finally had our 111 love stories ready – the ones we wanted to bring together as a unique, raw anthology.

As my baby grew, so did the book. On 11.11.2024, her first birthday, the book began to take a very concrete shape. The details of all authors were added, the book was edited, and caricatures that fit every story were added. When Athyasaa was about 1.5 years old, we started mulling over how we wanted to launch this unique love book – with stories that could make one cry, smile, remember, wonder, feel… You name it!

We wanted the book to be launched by the Presence who, for many, is Love. By none other than Mahatria! However, his dates were very hard to find as it was the busiest time with various public programs happening all over. We reached out to musicians of international repute, actors, and sportsmen. Meanwhile, as talks were underway, one day I just felt we should set a date for the event and see what happens.

The Date That Chose Itself

I wrote to Mahatria’s organization and stated 11th October, 2025, as the book launch date. My daughter would be 23 months that day! It was a Saturday, and it just seemed like something in the cosmos was asking me to choose that date. I didn’t tell anyone I had submitted a formal request for Mahatria to launch the book, because I didn’t want to disappoint anyone. We began working towards the day with immense love. One of the most celebrated cricketers from Chennai agreed to do the launch on another day, but somehow in my mind the date had already been set, and I wasn’t willing to change it. We politely declined.

A core group formed, and day and night, ideas, decoration possibilities, and insights kept coming up. What amazed me was the amount of love everyone was feeling for the book. It didn’t seem to be just another hardbound book with 200 odd pages, it seemed to be a living creature – almost a baby girl, watching us with her beautiful, wondrous eyes, urging each of us to become a little more selfless, a little more beautiful, a little more loving. For her sake. For love’s sake.

Girl in Guru's lap
A few moments before the event with Mahatria Ra, holding Megha and Arun’s daughter Athyasaa, along with Megha Bajaj curator of the Love Multiplied book, Gayathri Ram and Dr N. Ramasubramanyan, Correspondent and Chairman respectively of Shri Natesan Vidyasala, Chennai.

A special mention to my entire Team WoW and Raju Bhai, who owned the event the way they would own their own child’s wedding… To Gayathri Ram and Shri Natesan Vidyasala, who did not just open their school but their very hearts to this sacred event… Everyone was ready to do whatever it took to just take this beautiful book, ‘Love, Multiplied (111 Times)’, to the world.

Almost 70 contributing co-authors decided they wanted to be present in person and planned their travel from across India (one, Maitri Tanna, even flew down from Boston for just 24 hours to be part of the celebrations!). Everything was gaining momentum, and we thought to ourselves that even if there was no Chief Guest, we would launch the book, as there was such an air of festivity around it.

Then came the call that changed everything! Mahatria had consented to grace the book launch with His Divine Presence! We couldn’t believe it – to get even a few minutes of his time was nearly impossible. Getting close to two hours (and almost 3 hours of his travel time to get to the venue) seemed like a dream come true.

A Launch Day Miracle

Suddenly, everything went to another level. What amazed me about the process was how everyone just wanted to come together, ‘to feel, to heal, to express love’ – and that became the very tagline of our book. We had Ratria Events (an event management company based in Chennai) tell us, “We will work at cost – but we want this to be the most beautiful and memorable event, ever!” It was as if the feeling just took over everyone, and love seemed to be pulsating in every heart, in every cell, in each day that we moved towards 11th October.

The day dawned, and there were showers aplenty in Chennai. Many of our programs were planned outdoors, but there wasn’t even a jitter in me. If love had found its way all this while, it would find its way for the launch too. Would you believe it! There were showers before 2 pm (the time our event started) and after 7 pm (the time our event ended)—but somehow, in between for those 5 hours, everything went as if gods themselves were on our team. A thousand people attended the launch in person – making it one of the most unique book launches ever to happen in Chennai – and over ten thousand people (and counting) watched it on webcast.

People who attended the launch were moved to tears. It was kept raw… real. The way the MCs hosted and spoke, the way the performers simply flowed – it wasn’t about perfection, it was about love. The truest expressions of love were felt in the air, and probably that is what made everything even more beautiful. For me, the moment of the evening was when I saw a single tear in my Mahatria’s eye, who said he was overwhelmed with love. I will carry that image to the last day of my life! In fact, as I type these words, I have tears.

Post the launch, too much happened. Media that usually prefer covering negative news were moved to cover our event because of the sheer love it brought. People holding the book itself were experiencing a transformation. Almost every popular newspaper carried a story of what transpired. One even made it the front page headline.

Love, Multiplied (111 Times), and Beyond

Now, three weeks later – as I recollect the entire sequence, I am left with one dominant thought… Love makes things possible. People reading the book tell me something just shifts in them – one story at a time. In my own life, I have seen people healing from cancer through love, people re-igniting dead relationships with love, people becoming billionaires because they love what they do, and some attaining godhood from the oneness they feel with the Divine. To limit love to a relationship is grossly limiting it. To understand it as the very power that runs the entire Universe comes closer to definition.

For now, all I wish for each of you reading this is: may you find the power of love within yourself, your friends, your family, and the world at large. I believe it is the single thing that will change everything for the world. As our publishers, Bookosmia Apracity, put it, “All the world needs now is love.”

Let’s feel, heal, and express love more. A lot more.

  4. What a blessing it was to say, “I was there”

I have witnessed the wave of Love gaining momentum way before the book launch and I am deeply inspired by this learning that it does not matter what we achieve, but what we become while achieving it.

I can say this is absolutely certainly that I have become more loving, more selfless, a little more purer and beautiful within to be a part of this Love Wave and reading this book one story at a time really shifts something significant within.

Felt so happy reading and going through the entire process again of the book happening once again, somehow I can never tire of reliving the entire experience one more time!
