Spiritually grounded Rabbi at Temple Beth Torah, Westbury, NY, Rabbi Jack Dermer connects with Jews of all backgrounds and levels of observance through Torah and music. While at Jewish Theological Seminary in NYC, he earned an MA in Jewish Thought with a focus on Chassidic and Kabbalistic mysticism. Rabbi Dermer is the chair of the Rabbinical Assembly’s Human Rights committee, and secretary of the Long Island Board of Rabbis.
